April 21, 2019: Sorry for the prolonged absence but the band has undergone some radical changes in personnel and musical direction. Since the last post we have lost the services of Ana Neves, Patrick McMaster & Ken Cowie. Doug and I wish them well in their new projects. We have since added Matt Barber on guitars & vocals, Jeff Jordan on Bass, and Nicholas Fonseca on keyboards & vocals. Our new members bring with them a wealth of experience and new material therefore we are changing to a more classic rock less blues direction. A name change as well to reflect the new direction of the band, from this date we will be known as "The Insanity". We hope our friends and fans will continue to come out and support the new lineup as we get ready for some exciting adventures beginning with "Adamstock 2019" in August. Keep tuned as I will try to be more diligent in updates.

October 31, 2019: It has been an exciting year so far.... Adamstock was a HUGE success (even broadcast live on internet radio around the world!!!). Did a "March of Dimes " fundraiser benefit in September at the "On the Rocks" Pub in downtown Edmonton. And now for some bigger news The Insanity is more than pleased to welcome aboard  our newset member on vocals & other percussion, Ms Annette Rampersaud. She brings even more experience and stage presence. She will be debuting with the band at The Century Casino on Fort Rd on Thursday November 7th as we perform at yet another fundraising event supporting the Edmonton Food Bank in association with the Insurance Institute on Northern Alberta.

March 16, 2024: We are extremely sorry for such a long delay in updating the website!!! "The Insanity" won the Battle of the Bands at the IINA foodbank fundraiser at the Century Casino on Ft. Road in Edmonton on Nov. 7th of 2019. Unfortunately then the Covid pandemic struck and put everyone on hiatus, including the band. Since 2022 "The Insanity" has managed to perform at several block parties in Edmonton & Sherwood Park as well as Adamstock 2022. We have undergone another personnel change since our last post. We have said a sad farewell to Nick Fonseca on keyboards, Annette Rampersaud on vocals & Jeff Jordan on bass guitar. We have added Pete Pietramala on Bass guitar & vocals as well as Triena Hoople on vocals, keyboards & other percussion. 2023 posed another challenge with some serious health & other issues for some band members, but we have come back stronger and with greater desire to perform again. 2024 is turning out to be a better, bigger year for "The Insanity" with more gigs on the horizon including back to Adamstock 2024 in Sundre AB Aug.16 & 17. Will definitely post more as it becomes avilable. Keep on Rockin' and hope to see ALL our fans & friends real soon!!!
